GLOW UP/Glow Zones
Instead of activities scattered across the lot, the night is split into ten named zones. Every one is run by a ministry that would love to meet your family, and every one of them glows.
Trunk or Treat, the heart of the night. Light themed trunks line the whole street, every one handing out candy, and ministries and families compete for five different titles. No dark sidewalks, no houses to knock on, just one bright stretch of lot.
The signature attraction. The lights have gone out, and your team has fifteen minutes and four clues to bring them back. Teams of roughly six to eight enter at timed intervals, working through puzzles that end with a room that lights up all at once.
Everyone who escapes walks out with a glow bracelet and the sticker to prove it.
Blacklight games with prizes on the line. Glow bowling, neon cornhole, glow ring toss and a run of games built to look their best in the dark.
A DJ and an MC keeping the energy up all night rather than long presentations from the front. Dance challenges, family competitions, trivia, youth performances, giveaways and the two Glow Moments that pull the whole lot together.
Dinner is handled. Food trucks and concessions parked up for whatever the family is craving, so nobody has to plan around eating first.
Local small businesses, boutiques, crafts, desserts, nonprofits, colleges, youth organizations and community resource agencies. Every booth has one requirement, which is to light up, and there is a Best Glow Booth award for the ones that do it properly.
Blacklight backdrop, props and lighting set up so fluorescent clothing pops in photographs. Bring your brightest and you will get a picture worth posting.
Nursery through age 5, in a calmer corner away from the stage. Mini pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting, a bubble station, glow sensory bins, face painting, a toddler inflatable, fishing for prizes, candy stations and glow stick crafts.
Even the smallest light can shine.
Where the teenagers go to settle it. Head to head youth competitions running through the night, with bragging rights on the other side.
Somebody to talk to and somebody to pray with, plus connections to the community resources a family might actually need. No pressure, no queue, just people who want to help.
